THE STORY OF BAILEY
On July 15th, the Vucjak Shelter received a call to help a dog that was hit by a car.  Keep in mind that Dejan had just been released from jail two weeks earlier, after being falsely accused of animal abuse by a corrupt government and their para-military thugs.

Despite having all funding sources shut down, including the much needed Patreon account which was crucial to buy food and provide basic medical care for the 1000+ dogs at the shelter, Dejan rushed to scene and found Bailey (Bejli) still laying there in the middle of the street, broken, bleeding, lifeless.

He picked him up and rushed him to the ER vet hospital where Bailey was stabilized and prepped for surgery to repair a broken a broken spine.

Fast forward to today. WITH YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT, not only did Bailey survive a broken spine, he also survived Parvo while at the rehab center. BAILEY IS A SURVIVOR and going home today.

Last weekend, we mentioned that we were able to send enough money to buy food for one more week. Well after today's feedings (Aug 16), the shelter will be OUT OF FOOD AGAIN.
